Reviews and Ratings
I had a comfortable stay at the hotel with spacious rooms and helpful staff, although the duvets were a bit thin. The heating system worked well, and there was plenty of storage space. The location was excellent for exploring Manchester city center but slightly distant from the serving area. Dining was good in general, but the prices were a bit high, especially for simple breakfast choices like cereal and toast. Overall, the experience was positive with some room for improvement in pricing.
The hotel had a nice enough room with a comfortable Marriott bed, tea & coffee tray, ironing board, and flat-screen TV, but the originally given room was run down with an odd smell and a dated 1970s bathroom. Overall, we were happy with the room.
The hotel had a low ceiling in the rooms, but my partner loved the super comfy bed. The city view promised turned out to be a view of a construction site, which was quite disappointing. The cleanliness of the room was not up to par, though.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were ready for an early check-in, which was great, but I noticed they were a bit dusty. However, the exposed beams and nice bathroom added character to the room. The service was incredibly friendly, and they even went the extra mile to make my boyfriend's birthday special. However, I felt bad seeing the staff rushed off their feet. The location was nice and quiet with a canal side view, but it was a bit far from the metro stop. The dining experience was a hit or miss, with outstanding options one day and disappointing service the next. The hotel had various facilities to enjoy.
My stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic! The rooms were fine with plenty of space for the two of us, and the beds were incredibly comfy. Plus, they even included two bottles of free water, which was a nice touch. The value for the price we paid was tremendous, and I must say it's one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in during my 70+ years!
The hotel had spacious rooms but was overpriced for what was offered. The staff at reception lacked local area knowledge, making it challenging for first-time visitors to explore. However, the location was convenient for walking to the city center, even though surrounded by ongoing construction works.
